La Corporación Santiago Wanderers desea manifestar su rechazo ante la abrupta salida del mediocampista Jorge Ormeño Guerra de la institución, sin tener en consideración los antecedentes profesionales del futbolista que jugó en el Decano en los períodos 1997-2004 y 2012-2015, consiguiendo el título de Primera División 2001, las clasificaciones a Copa Sudamericana 2002, 2004 y 2015, más el ascenso de 1999.
Además, a nivel personal prestigió al club al ser seleccionado en las clasificatorias al Mundial de 2002 y actualmente se encontraba plenamente vigente como lo constata el hecho de ser uno de los mejores jugadores del equipo en el último Campeonato de Apertura estando presente en 12 de 14 partidos. Por lo anterior, se torna incomprensible el comunicado oficial de la SADP sobre su no renovación tras finalizar contrato.
